Maison des L

Theatricality of the light

While they split their activities between Brussels and Paris (and wherever their projects take them!) it is in Belgium, not far from Brussels, that Hélène and Olivier have chosen to settle.
There in the countryside they live in the family home they both fell in love with, and then completely renovated and furnished according to their own tastes, all while respecting the spirit of the site.

Providing family anchorage, a necessary point of reference, a restful refuge and, above all, a true living space, this house is the realisation of a shared dream.
From their first visit, this was the house for them. Both one of their most recent projects and the summation of their years of working and living together, the house, so full of history, fully expresses their taste for hospitality.

It’s an architectural project that reflects their identities, their dreams, their passions, as a kind of culmination and expression of their shared talents.

Plays of reflection, indirect light, accents, punctuations, everything contributes to the theatricality of the light and the fluidity of the volumes and progressions.
